Ninel Senatorova Bio
Ninel holds a master's degree from Moscow Architectural University (MARCHI University, State Academy) in Moscow, Russia, specializing in Architecture of Residential and Public Buildings, and an associate's degree from the Art Institute of Colorado in Denver, USA, specializing in Interactive Media Design. She has been working as an architect and was an active member of the International Federation of Artists (Professional and Creative Union of Artists and Graphic Designers) in Moscow, regularly participating in art exhibitions.
During her childhood, Ninel immersed herself in drawing and painting, alongside attending Music School, which provided her with a multifaceted creative foundation. Although initially hesitant about structured art classes, she discovered her true calling through her experiences and later established a successful art studio for children. The studio distinguished itself by prioritizing creativity, knowledge, and skills over rigid agendas, drawing inspiration from the academic education and the educational philosophy of Rudolf Steiner, known for his work in Waldorf Education.
Currently residing in Longmont, Colorado, Ninel wears many hats in the artistic community. In addition to her role as a graphic designer, she continues to paint and exhibit her artwork, sharing her passion and talent with the public. She also imparted private art lessons for children, fostering their creativity and artistic development, while also served as a substitute teacher at the Russian Center. Through her varied roles and experiences, Ninel continues to inspire and nurture the next generation of artists while staying true to her own creative vision.
Ninel extends her contributions to the community by volunteering at Niwot High School as a graphic designer, creating promotional material for school concerts and art shows. She also organizes art exhibitions of student work during winter school concerts, earning recognition for her exceptional efforts and the success of the NHS Art Show.
Additionally, Ninel has been volunteering as a coach for the Pepelats Robotic team, where she taught core values, basic design principles, and assisted in creating team posters. The team has successfully participated in FLL competitions for several years.
Continuing her artistic endeavors, Ninel annually participates in art exhibitions in Longmont, Boulder, and Denver. She has also had personal exhibitions in Louisville, Boulder, and Denver. As a dedicated member of the Boulder Art Association (BAA), Ninel has served on the board and contributed to community art exhibits and website design in the past, maintaining her membership in the organization. She is still a memeber of BAA.
Her current artistic pursuits aim to explore the possibilities of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, graphics, drawing, and oil painting, driven by a desire and instinct to express her wonder, perspective, vision, and curiosity about the world. Her work often reflects themes of nature and attempts to capture the endless change of space and time.
