Classical PORTRAITURE

In Classical Portraiture, students begin by making a pencil sketch of the model's head with special attention to the head's anatomical structure over . After mastering the pencil sketch, they will progress to creating a tonal study of the model's head with either charcoal or oil paint.

Students are encouraged to enroll in a Classical Drawing course before or while attending a portraiture or figure class. Art supplies are provided as part of the class fee for beginning level portraiture drawings.
